Calling Experienced Winter Mommies!
What on Earth do I need for Anna's first winter? I thought I'd get a bundle me for the car seat... but we never take the car seat out of the car and the car is always warm when we put her in it. So I need some type of warm outerwear for her for going from the car into places (like stores). I realize that you're not supposed to have too much fluff on the baby in the car seat, so what have you used? Right now, we have one of those Carter's soft, bear like prams- it seems thin enough for the car, but there's no way it'll be warm enough in the winter. Also, any other tips on which winter hats stay on best or anything like that? And how many do we need- will we use a hood and not need a hat everyday, etc (I imagine we'd need a hat too on cold days, but who knows)? Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for the advice
Re: Calling Experienced Winter Mommies!
Land's End makes one-piece fleece bunting that is AWESOME and I had one for each of my kids during their first winter. The hands and feet "flip" over so you don't even need mittens or boots. I used to put a little fleece jacket on over clothes, then the Lands End one piece and it was plenty warm (and thin enough for the car seat also).

Thanks for the link, Laura!
The side velcro hat sounds perfect too!
