Has anyone been successful in getting rid of these bushes?? UGH, we have been digging them up for 2 years, since we bought our house, and they just keep comming back....

I'd like to know the same thing.  We dug out the plants and they just will NOT go away.    I wish the previous owners had NEVER put them there... they're certainly not native to this part of the country, so why anyone would PURPOSELY plant them is beyond me.

Yuccas don't come up. Unless you tear up your entire yard (around them) and get every piece of the root system out. You're probably just makking more plants trying.

Don't be so sure. There are native Yuccas in OH.

Ugh, I seriously HATE the Yucca, I think the past owners liked them becuase they didn't require any maintenance....I will let you know if I come up with any ways to get rid of them!

I'm curious why you hate this plant so much, and what you plan to plant instead?

Have tried all versions of round up and weed be gone...I just dont like how they look and they are messy, the ones in my beds are huge about 3.5 feet wide by 3.5 feet wide, and about the same height, they also have stringy spikes, ugh, have been trying to get rid of them for 2 years, planting some hosta's and not sure what else, would like to add some color...
