Re: Suggestions??

  • Hi! Yes, there are definitely things you can do Thanksgiving weekend. In Sandwich, you can visit the Sandwich Boardwalk (scenic), Thorton Burgess Jam Kitchen, Sandy Neck beach (nice for beach walks), or drive down 6A to Provincetown. The Danl Webster has good food, but there is also the Belfry Inn, Sweet Tomatoes Pizza, Amaris (Italian), and Marshland (great breakfast; lunch and dinner is also very good and prices are extremely reasonable). The British Beer Company sometimes has bands, they have decent pizza, and also a good selection of beer. Sandwich also has the glass museum, hoxie house, grist mill, and heritage plantation. These are also interesting, but very low key (and some may say boring ; )!). Best wishes. Have a great trip!
  • the previous gave some GREAT suggestions!!! all which i agree with!! also, check out Heritage Museums and Gardens (museum should be open, garden might not be). Also, you're not far from Plimoth Plantation (located in Plymouth, MA, which is fun around Thanksgiving. There's the Hoxie House (in Sandwich) the oldest house on Cape Cod (or maybe second oldest) it's in a neat garden area (close to Dan'l Webster).
