How was everyones weekend?
Did any of you do something super exciting?
Re: How was everyones weekend?
woo hoo!! Well the Longhorns lost on Saturday which was sh!tty. And they lost to UCLA! WTF!?! But the Cowboys win on Sunday almost made up for it. We didn't really do anything. Started putting our house back together after getting new carpet and hardwood floors installed and then test drove some trucks.
I need a recovery from my weekend, as it was kind of stressful. This weekend DH was off and he wanted to load up the dog and go for a picnic Saturday. Plans A, B, and C for spots didn't work out so we ended up driving to Christopher Creek in Payson. It's the farthest we've driven with the dog and he was kind of stressed out (thus so was I) on the way up there. He had a blast once we got there but we have some work to do on his comfort with traveling.
Sunday should have been a day of rest but it was just as frusterating. Between our 4 year old Sunday school class being a crazy disaster, the dog getting into somethings while we were gone to church, and my temp dropping I just felt very defeated yesterday. Hopefully next weekend is better.
Saturday I went to my SIL's wedding. It was fun! I drank a couple bottles of wine and ended up dancing my @$$ off. Tweaked my knee a little which isn't as fun...
Sunday the hubs and I went for our photo shoot at the beach with our dogs. We had a blast! We seen some un-edited shots and they already look amazing!!

My weekend was good! Friday DH and I went to happy hour and then ate dinner and caught up on our shows on the DVR.
Saturday I cleaned and ran errands, and then Emily and Heather came over. We hung out and ate pizza and snacks and chocolate fondue, which was a little bit of a challenge lol. BTW Emily and Heather, I heated up the rest of it yesterday and it was fine, but still kinda runny! I will have to practice making it maybe with more chocolate?
Sunday I just hung around the house and did laundry, read a magazine, and then went grocery shopping.
Friday-DH & I went to Gordon Biersch to celebrate my bday a week early. I had a coupon for a free entree so that was cool.
Sat- I met up with Taylor in the am, returned a dress, and then had to go to a going away party for DH's good friend. :-(
Sunday-We went to Native NYer to watch football then I met Meghan's little man. OMG, he's soooooooooo cute! Then we watched the season premier of Dexter and went to bed!
I seriously hate Mondays! UGH!
Sounds like a blasty... I am glad you had a great time
Friday - we just wnet out to dinner and them home to relax, it was CJ's on call week last week so we were just ready for some old fashioned cuddle time after the logn week
Saturday - We had Kaycee(my niece's) 1st birthday party, she was so cute and she totally went to town with the cake, it was adorable, her little leg was just bouncing all over the place when she was eating it!
Sunday - Cj took his BM and GM to get fitted for their tux's and then I went shopping for some new clothes my old ones are starting to be a little big and then we just did the usual grocery shop, laundry, relax and get ready for naother week. We finally have out final head count so i can proceed with the rest of my to do's
I'm exhausted after our weekend. We've been staying at my parent's this week/weekend with my siblings. I love them but my 5 year old sister does not have an off button. She's the baby and knows it. Yesterday she was in meltdown mode all day.
I have a new respect for moms, especially moms of teenagers. The 12 & 14 year old(who technically don't need a babysitter) still were a handful. I'm trying to remember what I was like at 14 when I felt like strangling my sister who was MIA when I went to pick her up from school Friday.
Don't get me wrong, I really love kids and want our own. But I hope maybe more patience comes with having your own.
Glad to hear you got to enjoy your fondue a second day! Hopefully the hubby enjoyed it too! How is your javelina eaten plant?! That was HILARIOUS!!!
Good weekend, but not too eventful.
Friday: stayed late at school, grocery shopped, and caught up on the ole' DVR
Saturday: errands, watched the Michigan game while working on schoolwork, cleaned, and hung out with Deanna and Heather
Sunday: made a big breakfast for the hubby and me, church, a little shopping trip to Target, reading/relaxing, church nursery at night (LOVE all the cute chubby babies!), laundry
Glad you guys could enjoy it again! I dunno...maybe just more choc. next time.
Fri- we went to see our (probable) house again & to take measurements, then to IKEA & dinner at Joe's Crab Shack...yum!
Sat- we hung out, went & ordered tons of furniture at Ashley, then to Deanna's for a fun night w/her & Emily, then to get our 1/2 of the BB at Emily's.
Sun- we slept in, hung out, ran some errands, had lunch at Buca di Beppo & went grocery shopping
