Alright ladies, lay your bestest recipes on me. I've got a busy week ahead of me and I need to make lots of cakes. Tomorrow is our 5th anniversary, Thursday is Alex's birthday, Friday is Pete's birthday, Saturday we're having a small celebration for everything with Pete's side, and there's a chance we might round out the weekend on Sunday with bonus round cake.

I would love to make a different (awesome) cake each day and I know you guys know cake. Let's baaaaaaaaaaake!

I made this cake/pie this weekend after we went apple picking.  It is delicious and got rave reviews from everybody.  It takes some time just because there are a lot of steps, but it's easy.

Pdxdria passed me this recipe for carrot cake, but she uses guava paste in the icing.

Do you like beer cake? Mmmm, chocolate + stout. Super moist.

I remember the Oreo and Strawberry recipes from before - I was really hoping they would make it to this post. Those are going to be great for Alex's birthday. That caramel one looks soooo good, but it looks pretty intimidating. You say it's easy, huh? We have a shiit ton of apples from apple picking this weekend...  That could work for the anniversary cake. The marble cake looks delish and easy too....  You guys are making this so hard! (twhs!)

Mandarin Orange Pineapple Cake...  so yummy!

Ingredients:
1 box butter recipe cake mix
1 stick margarine, softened
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 - 11 oz. can mandarin oranges plus juice

Frosting:
1 - 8 oz whipped topping
1 - 20 oz. crushed pineapple plus most of juice
1 - 3 3/4 oz. package instant vanilla pudding


Do Not Use Cake Box Recipe... Instead, mix all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Bake at 325* for 25 minutes. Cool complete.
In a separate bowl, mix all frosting ingredients together. Ice cake.

Yields: 15 servings.
Keep refrigerated.
