Meeting Prison!
I am literally schedule to be in meeting prison for the entire next week starting right now! I despise leadership review meetings. I don't get to go, but have to do all the work for my boss. Don't get me wrong, I have a fantastic boss, but she is completely anal and is scheduling me every day all day in meetings with her for six business days in a row. I hate this time of year. I will have no life at work or at home for the next week because I'll be so stressed.
Effing budgets and goals and initiatives!!!

Me either! Usually the meetings I have to attend are web based with the lights out so we can see the screen projected on the wall. Those are EXTREMELY hard to stay awake during.
Keep your eye on the prize! With this job you are getting to come to Vegas in just a little bit over a month!!!
Hang in there my boss just got back in and has been barking orders for the last 50 minutes. Oh and one of our servers keeps beeping it has been for the last 50 minutes as well!!!

Now that is one way to look at it that I had not thought of! You are so right...what in the world am I complaining about?!
But seriously - I got out today at about 3:00 at which point I had to deal with two "fires" and get them resolved before 4:30. It's almost 6:30 and I'm still here, doing research for the meeting prison I'll be in tomorrow.
After October 8, I will have a reprieve. I'll get through the next 10 days by keeping up with everyone out here and living vicariously through all of you!
