I need help with pothos (indoor "jade" plant)
For reference, this plant:
My mom gave me a few pieces that were cut off of hers. (Hers is HUMONGOUS and she has to cut it back several times a year.)
Anyway, i've probably had it for 4-5 years now. There are like 3 stems coming out of the pot. The stems do grow, they'll reach the floor, but sometimes all of the leaves will turn yellow and die. It also is not growing new stems out of the pot. I can't tell if i'm underwatering, overwatering, if it's not getting the right level of sun? And, how can I make it grow in and fill the pot? I cut a piece of a stem off and i'm trying to propogate it in a cup of water on the windowsill. I can't tell if it's doing anything or not but I guess this takes some time...
FWIW I'm a total green thumb with outdoor plants. My flowerbeds/flower gardens look AWESOME. I just cannot figure out what i'm doing wrong with potted plants. lol
