I'm new here, have read a couple of comments, and decided to come out and start one, see if it picks up... so, since I'm new, can we get to know each other... I will say something about myself and post a question for the next person and the next person will do the same. cool? ok, here we go:

I do have a pet, it's a dog, her name is Lexy and I love her
She is a rescue dog, my H and I did some research and she's what is called a Poxer, a mix of a pug and a terrier, but she looks like a little boxer 
she's about 1 yr according to the vet

I took 4 yrs of high school French and none of it stuck to the point that I can speak it fluently but I can follow a conversation fairly well. I would love to learn Italian!

Finding out that my case against this random jerk who punched me in the face was refiled as two felonies, instead of the one misdemeanor.

ETA: That's awful that a jerk punched you!
I'm really excited to be a SAHM soon, but career wise I'd love to be a high school librarian (full time with job security, funding, and assistants).

foggy and rainy days, I don't know why, just makes me want to cuddle up and watch movies or read a good book

My greatest hero is my grandmother because she raised 5 kids all by herself and never took anyone's crap. I really wish I were more like that.
My greatest inspiration is my daughter because without her I don't think I would be half the person I am right now. She makes me want to be better than I am.

Oh thats an easy one! Steel Magnolias. I can quote most of the movie and I love the wedding! Good times.

Car was washed last weekend before I visited my parents. As a matter of fact, when I pulled up- dad was like: "Hey nice new car!" bwahahahaha. Clearly it had been TOO long.

Yeah, they were happy tears. It's been a long process.
I don't know that I can choose 1 favorite childhood memories, but I used to love the nights that my family would get licorice, make popcorn, and all watch a movie together. It used to be such a special event to go to the video store and choose a movie.
Q: What has been your favorite vacation?
Our honeymoon in Hawaii. Neither of us had been before and we spent time in Oahu and Maui. It was so peaceful, relaxing, and fun and everything was perfect. We know we want to wait a while to go back because it won't live up to our honeymoon
