parking in downtown chicago?
DH and i are driving into chicago this weekend. our hotel charges $53 a day to park! i've suggested parking at the airport and taking the train in, but my DH doesn't want to do that. does anyone know of any reputable parking lots in the downtown area where we could leave our car for 3 days? thx!

I live in River North and there is an open lot for $6/day and is fine for overnight parking. It's located on Kinzie St just west of Clinton St. next to The Bloomer Chocolate Factory. We use it for our guest parking when we have people in town. The only thing is you'll have to go back on Sat eve to pay through Sun.
