Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. People who think they deserve special treatment...
So today I had a lunch meeting with several people and I was talking with one of the girls who also has a child at the same daycare as DS. Our front desk greeter/office manager just left a couple weeks back, and I was asking her if she knew what happened b/c I had yet to hear what was going on. Apparently, I hit a nerve. She was like, "I'm glad she's gone. She and I did not get along. She was so rude to me. One time, I didn't pay on time, and she made me pay the late fee. I asked her where that information was posted, and she said it's in the handbook."
It took everything I had not to say, "That's your own fault. We knew from the beginning we had to pay every Monday by 6:00 pm. That's why we have it auto deducted from our checking account straight to the dacyare."
She also complained that they wouldn't let her send nutri-grain bars
with her daughter to school. Um, also, in the handbook, you can't send
outside food in because of food allergies.
It just really gets on my nerves when people complain about others not bending the rules for them.

I swear....our world is filled with people who think they are so special that they don't have to follow the same rules as others!
The ICU that I work in has set visiting times. We have to enforce those so we have time for our patients to rest....and so that we have time to get all of our work done. You would not imagine the people that will just walk in whenever they feel like it....and when you tell them they have to come back during visiting time....they get VERY rude! I swear....I pulled the curtain in my patients room shut and began to give them a bath.....well.....about 5 mins into the bath a family member just pulls back the curtain and said "I know it's not visiting time...but I would like to see my uncle"....uuuhhh.....did you not see that big sign on the door. Oh...and did you not notice that my curtain was pulled....for a reason??? Rude people just make me mad
