I know Christmas is still a long ways off, I mean we haven't even hit Halloween yet. But have you started to think about it yet? I already have started on gifts and can't wait to start looking for Christmas cards if I dont end up doing with something from work...I love the Holidays!

Re: Christmas...
I feel like I am always socking away ideas for Christmas. I know this year rather than doing presents for all the families within my family (aunts, uncles and cousins) I am going to make chocolate spoons for hot chocolate and donate money to a charity in their name. The rest of my list, I am looking for stuff in Paris in two weeks and then I will reevaluate what I need to make after that.
As for crafts, I made some things last year but I am sort of on a hiatus because we do not have that much room to store any decor like crafts until we buy a house.

We've started, but only b/c all the kids get visa gift cards, so we pick them up throughout the year to offset the costs.
Not sure on anyone else, I really want DH to deal with his family this year. Last year I gave them watercolor paintings of their houses and only my parents really showed any thanks.
That and I'm tired of the we get one $100 gc to HD from MIL and her hubby when everyone else gets separate gifts. I swear we are the only people to get a "couple" gift.

OMG sooo this, I really want to like Christmas shopping but it is so stressful. I have one friend I still exchange with and seriously that is sooo difficult we are all grown up now there isn't anything I need/want that I don't just get for myself. Then of course my sister's and their spoiled kids, ugh.
DH's family exchanging is completely annoying also, his parents and aunt and uncle on MIL's side all exchange gift cards. Seriously? WTF is the point? I just broke dh of this habit with his parents the three of them would exchange gift cards in the exact same dollar amount every year, to top it off it is ususally like an amex gift card, not a specialty one.
Now decorations that's a completely different ball of wax. I looooove gettign ready for that.
