Is it a sin against Halloween to wear the same costume two years in a row?
Re: Halloween
I've done it. I think it would be weird if you are going to see the same people as you did last year. If you have multiple parties/events I say recycle that costume. Just wear it in front of people who didn't see it last year. Those babys can get expensive.
If you love a costume and dont want to wear it two years in a row keep in for a while. I was Betty Crocker last year and probably won't pull it out this year, but I would hate to get rid of the stuff so I'm gonna keep in it the closet for a while see if I can wear it again down the road.
Not really. Can you maybe tweak it a bit? One year I was little bo peep. The next year I tore the same dress apart and I was Malice in Wonderland.
Also, I know someone who wears the same costume often but it was such a hit we don't mind it.

well, if it is, then I'm going to be a sinner. Though, technically I wore my costume the day before halloween. I didn't even get to wear it halloween night and DH didn't get to see it because I sprained my ankle at a party the night before in the costume. haha
So.....I'm gonna say.....screw it, I'm wearing the same costume! hehe
If you're going to see the same people as last year, I'd say yes it is and don't wear it this year... wait till next year or the following one. If you're around a mostly new crowd, go for it - no one will know anyway.
