Places to eat

DH and I 1st wedding anniversary is next Sunday and we are trying to figure out where to go to eat.  So please rec your places.  We normally eat at TGIFridays, Applebees, ect.  So we are looking for somewhere different.  Oh and let me know what the dress code is of the place you rec.

What price range are you interested in?  Vin de Set near Lafayette Square is good, but pricey.  Favazza's on the hill is one of our favorites. Their food is delicious (italian.)  It is not cheap, but not too expensive.  Squires in Lafayette Square is good too, not sure of price range.  Another pricey place is Wildflower in the CWE.

I love Mosaic on Washington Street.  It's tapas and the food is delicious!  That's where DH and I go for "special" events.

I second Mosaic.  I am a huge fan of tapas and I like the atmosphere there.  DH and I also go to Bristol at Olive and 270 quite a bit too.  I love their lobster bisque and they have a three course meal selection that is great and reasonable for seafood.  Dress code there varies, but Dh and I usually dress "business casual" I would say (unless we are sitting at the bar).  Have fun!
