Grading exams, entertaining the in-laws, and perhaps going to a movie.

I would also like to take this opportunity to poke some fun at lawby today, since she thought it was soooo funny that I responded to last week's TGIF post on Saturday. Well, *some* of us work around here. It's a hard week when you can't even get to the TGIF post until Sat AM. And *some* of us were busy getting the GTG planned so that the rest could have a goood time. And *some* of scheduled previously mentioned GTG so just so she could make it there in time to order food.

Ungrateful wench.

Hee hee...

Tonight, DH and i are going to a movie premiere that a friend of ours wrote and directed and some other friends of ours acted in! But it's a horror movie, so i don't know how i'm going to handle it.   There's a q&a session with them all afterwards, but i don't think i'll stay because...

Sat; i'm observing some little kid ballet classes at ABT. We have to do 20hrs this semester and i haven't started yet. Then DH and i are going to look at/get new phones and then do our anniversary lunch/dinner!! We still haven't really decided where...

Sun; the choreography student's piece that i'm in is having a 'showing' on Sunday in front of their professor, just to make sure that things are going well. So we have a 10min time slot. Then i'm working my *last* open house at 2pm!! (if it's still happening, we're not sure yet).

And with any other free time i have i'll be reading and doing homework. Yay.

Tomorrow, we're probably going to go to Gymboree with DD, then we're going to Ikea to pick up a new dresser for DH and probably stop by Fairway (we go there pretty rarely since it's so far from us). Saturday, we're meeting up with my sister and her new FI at the NYC Center for their Fall for Dance performance, and I'm super excited!

Sunday, maybe another Gymboree class if we can fit it in, then pedi appointment for Sasha (yay for shots and cranky kid!) Then we might stop by my parents' house to hang out a bit. Also some cleaning and laundry.

Tonight, I am going to an event where I am going to meet Cherry Jones (for those of you who don't know her, evidently she played the president on 24).  Then I am going to  my friend's party.

Tomorrow, I am catching up on reading, possibly seeing a dance show with some seniors I might work with at the Highline.  At night I am going to another party where there is a dress up theme, "Catch Me if you Can"

Sunday my hubby is running his first 5k so I am getting up early and making him an amazing breakfast, going to cheer him on, then seeing a show in the city.

Fri: nothing

Sat: nothing

Sun: nothing

You got that right! This is my lazy weekend. Of course there will be chores and church in there but that's it! I am looking forward to it.

DH and I are going to spend the weekend in Philly.  I've been craving a good Philly Cheesesteak for some time now.  And, I'm looking forward to spending time together away from here before I fly out to Louisiana next weekend for work.

Fri: 2 weeks of laundry in the rain At least I'll have the machines to myself, because not many are this crazy.

Sat.: I'm back to the Girl Scout office for service unit manager training and trying again to get a canoli.

Sun.: My husband tries to keep this day free from work to do something. Hopefully something good, just the 2 of us since we haven't in 2 weeks. Any ideas?

Tonight: May clean filthy bathroom...still deciding. 'rents are coming over later to help DH and I put the babies crib together. I'll be sure to post some pics once things start coming together.

Tomorrow: Nothing planned...just vegging out with the hubby. Maybe I will make him take me to a movie or something. Anything good playing?

Sunday: Possibly going to brunch at Essex with DH (being I missed the GTG and am dying to go there) and then I will see if we can go to the cannoli heaven Helene had mentioned.

Bonnie, Garth and I just checked out The Town and loved it. Although there are some violent scenes. I didn't mind it too much - was a great movie!

Have a nice weekend, can't wait to see nursery pics! Enjoy Essex - I may hijack y'all there. j/k

Tomorrow night I am dancing at a wedding....eek!!! One of my students booked me last year, before I was pg, and I kept assuring her my whole pregnancy that I would be fine to dance at her wedding (after all, I was due August 31, so October 2 should have been no problem).  Then I went 8 days late, and all of a sudden I'm bellydancing at a wedding three weeks after giving birth.  Doesn't sound like such a good idea anymore....
