Re: Friday Five
1. When was the last time you played hooky? Over 8 years ago since it was a mental health day at a job prior to this one. I always strived for perfect attendance at this job.
2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Smell, for sure. I don't hear that good anymore since all those years of blasting my music WAY too loud paid off.
3. Earbuds or headphones? I use earbuds since that's what my MP3 came with; however headphones are MUCH more comfortable!
4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? My coffee & end tables. I bought them from my friends' neighbors garage sale back in '06 right before I moved into my apartment.
5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight - cleaning the house, and maybe getting in another long bike ride if it's as nice as it was yesterday.
Tomorrow - my 20th class reunion and I can't WAIT!!!!
Sunday - football and lazy day
2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Smell. Almost to the point of annoyance because I can smell everything before anyone else around me (good and bad).

4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? My car. Found it on Ebay for almost $2,000 less than KBB and I LOVE it.
5. Plans for the weekend? Driving up to D.C. tonight to visit with H's family and celebrate 2 birthdays (BIL & SIL). We are staying all weekend. And we finally get to see our niece again! We haven't seen her since our wedding and she was only 3 1/2 months at that time, so I know she has changed a lot and I can't wait see what kind of personality she has developed.
1. When was the last time you played hooky?Not in a little while...I can't really remember but I think it was in August and I didn't tell ANYONE I was staying home (besides work of course) and didn't move off the couch!
2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Probably smell....though I'm pretty good with sound too....
3. Earbuds or headphones? Ear buds I guess...haven't had headphones in years!
4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? Hmmm I found my job on Craigslist....
5. Plans for the weekend? Hopefully visiting Gus! Saturday getting my hair colored. Sunday we have the inspection for the home we are buying. But totally hoping to fit in a Gus visit somewhere.
2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Sound easily! I hate the yappy dog at work which barks super loud!

Tonight- chill out and watch the Phils last series begin against Atlanta, Tomorrow clean up the pantry closet/reorganize it and pack for my business trip, Sunday leave in the afternoon for Penn State for a training class for Mon-Tues so I won't be in touch w/you ladies until Tuesday evening! Bonus for the trip- DH told me to take his car which is 5 yrs newer than mine and much more comfy of a ride. I'm excited b/c this is the first time I'll drive it on the highway! Gotta find the cruise control etc this weekend.

2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Sound. I can't smell for sh*t. Which is good, because jail inmates kind of stink and it doesn't bother me when I have to visit
3. Earbuds or headphones? headphones (never tried earbuds)
4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? My hammock for $10!!
5. Plans for the weekend? Notihng really. DH is sick and I'm working on Sunday so this should be uneventful.

4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? I scored our coffee and end table from a friend who was moving...they couldn't fit it on the moving truck. I also got a couch for my old apt for $7 at and auction...granted it was something from the 70s, but it was awesome
5. Plans for the weekend? today--lunch with a friend then going to look for a new chair mat for our office; no solid plans for the rest of the weekend since DH has to work....might try to convince him to go out to dinner or something tomorrow night

4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? Some really nice tidbit plates on Ebay, for a great price
5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight gym, then after working out the girls of the gym are doing a photo shoot to advertise Amazing Grace Barbells for Boobs (a fundraiser to promote breast cancer awareness). We are all getting dressed up and doing some lifting, to kind of show beauty in strength type of thing. Should be fun. Tomorrow is a local wine festival, and then the Georgia Tech Football game. Sunday I have to do work for grad school and do laundry and such.

2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Definitely smell. I always tell DH when his breath stinks!

4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? Hmm...probably our humongous office desk. We bought it at a church garage sale for like $50 and it's SOLID!
5. Plans for the weekend? Doing some more fall cleaning; Packers game, church...nothing to eventful.

1. When was the last time you played hooky?Umm, never...I always think about it, but never can quite make it happen!
2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound?Sound for sure! I hear just about everything - this special power is both a blessing and a curse...
3. Earbuds or headphones?Earbuds...love the freedom from having something on my head!

What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find?OK - when H and I were dating, we went to his family church's annual Christmas Bazaar, and I got this 1ft tall Santa clause statuet and it is made in Denmark, and it looks antique. I paid $3 for it...H loves to kid me every year when I put it out about how it's worthless, but I'm convinced that when Antiques Road Show comes back to our hometown, I'm gonna be able to retire off the proceeds...
5. Plans for the weekend?Tonight - since I was traveling last weekend, and H has to work tonight, I'll be catching up on my Friday wedding shows...FW, SYTTD - ATL...two weeks worth - woo hoo!
Tomorrow - hanging out with Mom...and Sunday? Watching football, of course :-)

2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Sound...I am always fighting a sinus infection so I can only smell something thats very strong...
3. Earbuds or headphones? Earbuds...even though ALL my profs in college told and demanded us to use headphones (communication disorders major)
4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? I don't really shop at these places.
5. Plans for the weekend? We are taking our puppy in for his follow up tomorrow. Also have to buy a new lawn mower. Then spending the weekend working in the yard.

5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight: bday celebration for a couple we're close friends with who are turning 40 a few days apart from each other. Tomorrow night: uh, suprise party for the same couple. They planned a dinner for tonight not knowing that they're getting a surprise tomorrow night, and we all have to go so they don't get suspicious. Sunday: packing and flying out to Madrid at night.

2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound? Definitely sound, I have a very weak sense of smell, my strongest sense by far is taste

4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? my $4000 oboe that I got on ebay for $800 because the guy thought he was buying a clarinet and needed to sell it. :P

1. When was the last time you played hooky?
Today! I am at a conference for work, and this one session I was in was pretty boring, so I left and hung out in my hotel room for the hour
2. Which of your senses do you think is more sensitive: smell or sound?
Sound - I need a few minutes of silence every day
3. Earbuds or headphones?
Neither - I don't have an iPod or anything....
4. What has been your best flea market (garage sale/Craigslist/ebay/etc) find? I usually like to pick up cheap novels at garage sales, but that's about it.
5. Plans for the weekend? I'm in St Louis until Sunday afternoon for this conference. I love STL - but I'm over this conference. I can't wait to get home!!!
