Family Photos?

I posted this on the Cleveland Babies board, also, but wondered if anyone had a recommendation for an outdoor photo location. We were thinking of in a park. I've not really explored the parks yet, so I'm clueless on which ones are nicer than others and good spots for pictures.

Re: Family Photos?

  • In what part of Cleveland are you located?

We did outdoor wedding pictures near the pond in front of the art museum in University Circle.  That's a popular spot!  The cultural gardens along MLK are close to there as well and would be nice.  You may need to drive past a few though... some may be in better shape than others.

  • I'm in Shaker, but I'm taking pictures of my friend's family, and they're in Lakewood. So just about anything works, I would think.

    Thanks for the help!

  • How about Lakewood Park? Not only is there Lake Erie as a backdrop, but there's a set of wooden stairs that are good for pics. My friend had her wedding pics done there. IIRC, there's also playground equipment.

Or, for something different, how about the Cleveland Zoo?

  • Historic Olmstead Falls is always nice... they have the park with the covered bridge and the quaint little shopping area.
