My good friend (who also recently became my boss) is getting married tomorrow! She got engaged the week before I did, in Italy, and it is going to be a phenomenal event. She's been super good about keeping the plannign a secret but from what she has told me, it's going to blow my wedding out of the water, and really that's not an easy feat.
I woke up this morning so excited for her. I don't think I actually understood and have been able to share in wedding excitement fully until after I got married myself. Just remembering how excited I was and how the day before my wedding felt makes me overjoyed for her.
What are you ladies up to this weekend?
Re: This weekend!
That is awesome, yeah for weddings! Where is she getting married?
No huge plans, tomorrow night I am going with some friends to a dueling piano bar (kind of like the Big Bang on Mill) so that should be fun! Probably just dinner and drinks with the hubs tonight.
aww, that sounds awesome. can't wait to hear all about it.
i have a super busy weekend ahead of me with work on both days. i plan on getting a massage at some point and that's about it.
The ceremony is at Blessed Sacrament Church and the reception is at McCormick Ranch Golf Club.
Are you going to that piano bar in Scottsdale? (I think it's called Howl at the Moon?) I've heard good things about that one!
I don't know what it is about October but we are literally JAM PACKED with stuff every weekend. It's crazy! Where are you going for a massage? I don't know if you saw my post awhile back, but one of my accounts for work is AZ Spa Girls and they have a few really good deals on massages right now

I think that this is a little conceited and could definitely rub people the wrong way.
As for my weekend we are putting our house back together after getting new floors done. Nothing too exciting!

We got new carpet in the living room and front room, then hardwood floors in the office, stairs, loft and upstairs hallway. It looks so nice!
Awesome! I am sure it looks great, I really want to put wood floors in out house but Cj's isn't sure on that yet... I just really hate the carpet we have now =(

Oooh I am way jealous! We need new carpet - ours is absolutely disgusting (our house was a foreclosure and they didn't treat it too well!). I would LOVE to do hardwoods if it wasn't so expensive!
As for my weekend...we're going out to dinner with my parents tonight since its my dad's birthday, and then I'll be at work all weekend
Man, the weekend before parent/teacher conferences in BRUTAL! LOL
I spent a late night at school; now catching on the DVR and the nest.
Tomorrow: grocery shopping, b-fast with friends , cleaning, grading/report cards, having a chill night (I'm excited haven't had that in awhile!)
Sunday: making b-fast for the hubs, church, errands/reading/relaxing, nursery, laundry
Pretty much a boring weekend, but I need a little down time before my looonng week starts! Can't wait for FALL BREAK!
We finally have a weekend with nothing planned, and probably the only one we'll have free this month. Trying to use it to relax in a productive way.
We're hiking Camelback tomorrow morning, only made it halfway last time so I hope we can make it further tomorrow. Then a trip to Costco(amazing what becomes exciting the older you get lol).
Sunday nothing planned but watching the Chargers game. Oh sorry, the Cardinals game too. And I should probably start getting stuff done for my soon to be sister in law's shower that's in less than 2 weeks. I think I'm more excited for her shower than I was my own. So much to do, eek!
We worked First Friday last night and the Herberger grand reopening this morning.
BBQing tonight with friends, watching the Cardinals tomorrow and working from home
