Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. 3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp double acting baking powder
1 16oz can of pumpkin
2/3 cup oil
3 eggs, slightly beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 9x5 loaf pans and then coat the pan with sugar, dusting off the excess. In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients, in another bowl, beat eggs and mix in the pumpkin. Combine the two, pour batter into pans. Sprinkle sugar over top of batter.
Bake about 1 hr or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 10 min, remove from pans and cool completely on racks. Makes 2 loaves.
Serve warm with butter!!
