Kodak camera doesn't have wall charger

My parents got me a digital camera a few years ago for Christmas, and while it's a great camera, it was one that doesn't come with a regular wall outlet charger. The charger it comes with will only plug into your computer to charge. It's this camera:

Can I buy a regular charger somewhere, or is it not built to accept them? I'm going on a trip in February and don't want to have to take my laptop just to be able to take pictures for more than a day.

Re: Kodak camera doesn't have wall charger

  • You should be able to buy a separate charger. I don't know the model of your camera, but this charger accepts a lot of batteries. See if your camera is listed on the Specifications tab:

  • I think that's the problem...there IS no removable battery. As in, when the camera finally dies, it's dead. There's no place to open where a battery would be; the only place to open on the entire camera is where the memory card is.
  • I have a Kodak camera I bought recently that looks similar.  Are you sure the battery isn't located right next to the memory card slot?  That's where mine is...  It's pretty small so could be hard to miss.  Also, mine plugs into the computer, but also came with a removable plug attachment.  I think it's really weird your parents camera didn't come with it, too, so maybe it's missing a piece?

I also have a Kodak camera that came with a USB cord to charge it but is also came with this to plug the USB cord into and then plug into the wall outlet. I believe you can get these a lots of stores. Amazon.com has a bunch if you search "usb wall outlet".
