FF Success!!
I am in a new FF league this year. It's with my coworkers who I just started working with in March.
When I started they said to me, "you know newbies belong at the bottom. You will always see us 3 at the top of all of our leagues. Just FYI."
Well jerks - I am not a newbie to FF (just to this league). Plus, they have ridiculous scoring and weird rules. So yeah, I'm not doing too well in the league...but not horrible.
One of the guys in particular thinks I am completely ignorant when it comes to sports in general. He made a comment on one of my pick 'em choices last week. I picked Colorado over Georgia. He says to me, "pfff, you know colorado is one of the worst teams in the Big 12. And you think they will beat Georgia?"
Umm, yeah I do know that and I also know that Georgia is down this year. So back off. And what do you know? Colorado beat Georgia.
So I am playing this particular jerk this week in FF. He was projected to beat me by like 40 points and he made sure he notified me of this. And here we are with him down about 40 points with just a linebacker left to play tonight. I could not be more excited to go to work today and rub both of these "wins" in his face.

What a jerk! I went through the same thing, like at the start of the season they were questioning my picks and making "girl" jokes... umm well guess who is ranked first in the league and undeafeted? You guessed it, me! Curiously enough, I haven't heard a peep from the guys since the draft.. hmmmmm.

Good luck with the rest of the season - this is definitely an awesome victory. And I'd definitely rub it in his face. :P
