Hi All,
Any ideas for eliminating odor from our garage? We have a tightly sealed "outdoor" door to the garage, but every time it is opened, the bad smells permeate the nearby kitchen.
We put a nice finish on the cement garage floor (some kind of stain-resistant paint and speckle duo) and we keep it pretty clean. On the stinky end of things, we store our garbage, quad, yard equipment, my car, shoes, hockey equipment, chopped wood for fireplace, etc. in there. Little critters abound- we live in the woods... so wintertime is sure to bring mice, too. My husband insists that the garbage must remain in there, or else raccoons will get it - and our township forces us to use their standard garbage can, so we can't switch to a tightly sealed garage storage container.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
Re: Stinky Garage
Ah, yes, bleach. Thanks! We have a little one, so those diapers do a NUMBER on our weekly garbage.... but I will get hubby to bleach more often.
Does your cat bring the mice to your doorstep? I've considered getting an outdoor cat, but I'm worried about what we might find as "presents".
