Thomas and I have been going back and forth with asking each other "So, what do you want to do for our anniversary?" for like the past 6 weeks.
Today's our anniversary and we're STILL asking each other this.
We were going to drive to the beach (it's about 3 hours), but it's such a lovely, crisp fall day here that we wanted to enjoy it. So, we thought about driving 2 hours to the mountains and visiting the Biltmore for a day. Well, we changed our minds.
So, with absolutely no plans, we finally just decided to splurge on a yummy dinner at this restaurant we've always wanted to go to. It's in this gorgeous historic bungalow and just looks very "Fall" to me. We made reservations for 7... so, at 3:30 in the afternoon, we FINALLY have something to do on our anniversary.
Am I the only one the slacks on this stuff so badly?
Also, some of you have already seen them, but I did a blog post today sharing a bunch of e-pics, wedding & honeymoon photos. Link is in my sig if you want to aw me.. you know, two years later, lol.
Hope the other 10-4er's are having a great day!!! ![]()

Re: Anniversary confession.
That sounds like a great plan!
My anniversary confession is that we didn't buy gifts for each other.
We don't really buy gifts for each other for any holiday. I get what I want and he gets what he wants. I bought myself a pair of Costa Del Mars and he bought himself a video game - for our anniversary. We each got each other a sweet card, but we didn't go gifts.
We have no plans yet. We still have 3 weeks but we haven't even talked about it. I have no idea what to get DH for a gift either.
Haha, um, I didn't even think about gifts until you all mentioned it. Oops! BUT, thomas' birthday is also the week right before our anniversary, so he gets gifts then.
Now we're just sitting around the living room and watching football. Actually, I kind of prefer this - it's nice.

That is going to be us next week. We are still asking each other about gifts. And I still don't know. We have decided on a dinner place (thanks to the super discount at Restaurant.com). But have not made reservations yet.
I see us doing a whole lot of sitting around next week. Well I'll be working that day, he'll be home since school is closed.

my blog
ours is next Monday and I think we may just go to dinner. This weekend DH's bff is coming up from NY and helping finish drywall the upstaris and prime so we can paint the baby's room and our room.
Last year we didnt do anything either but go to dinner. We had just bought the house so we were working on that.
So yeah, looks like we're doing the same thing as we did last year-home reno crap. Very romantic.
We decided last year that if we could, we would try and get away for the weekend each year. So we booked a cabin the mountains back in Julyish.
I don't think we'll do more than a couple short hikes with Sadie and enjoy the views from the cabin, but a couple days away is fine with me. I'm going to get DH to make his vegetable soup next week, so I can freeze some for us to munch on during the weekend and maybe splurge on a couple steaks since the cabin does have a grill.

We don't really ever do anything for our anniversaries. We spent it home together with our daughter and it couldn't have been more perfect
