Sunday, October 17th, starting at 11 AM (for those who want to watch the Chargers game, ahem SD). Feel free to come whenever you like, but we won't start grilling until noon. Everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like. Kids and husbands are welcome.
DH and I are going to set up a burger bar - we'll make beef, turkey and veggie (black bean) burgers and have different cheeses, condiments, etc. so people can build burgers of their choice. I'll have a few apps (egg rolls and couple dips), a broccoli salad, and pumpkin cheesecake bars. Please bring whatever food you would like.
We'll have wine, champagne and beer (Coors Light and Corona). We'll also have stuff for bloody marys and sangria. If none of these suit your fancy, please bring something you'd like to drink.
We live off of Exit 22 (in Woodland). There is a Safeway at Exit 21 if you want to pick something up. I'll PM the address to those who already responded that they are coming (or to those that respond here).
ETA: For the kids, we have milk (non-fat and 1%), peach-mango juice, and fruit punch.
Re: October GTG deets
I have to miss this one. Family pics that day.
Have fun ladies!! Go Steelers!!
Woot! I can't wait!
I'm bringing rhubarb desert for sure.
I also have a pan of lush slush in our freezer if anyone wants me to bring it. And if you don't, it's perfectly happy in my freezer.
I'm also very much craving baked brie, and caramel brownies. I won't make either of them for myself, so someone has to tell me which to bring (both is an acceptable option).
If I *had* to pick one, I'd pick the baked brie (which you can bake here).

I told the hubby we're coming. I don't think he's quite comfortable with the idea yet but he'll be fine . He doesn't really care for football and he's the biggest geek but I'm sure he can be entertaining once he is there.
For the last GTG I was making fried cheese croquettes. Should I still make these? Or will that be too much cheese if Em brings the baked brie?

Dude, Jeff got his PhD at MIT in Materials Science and Engineering, and you think your Geoff is a geek? : ) The Geoff and Jeff will be in good company!
And also, there is NO such thing as too much cheese!
Jeni, I'll bring both! And Ann, I'll probably take you up on your offer to use your oven - thanks!

We'll definitely be stopping by after reading these responses!!!
Friends of ours are having a "star wars" party in November where we are watching ALL 6 movies, and dressing up in character costumes, and eating star wars themed treats. yeah, we are cool. I may have to borrow a light saber, Ann!
You can borrow my Star Wars cookie cutters too!!!
