I hav to take Caleb for his 6 month check-up today and I am just sick over it. He has to get 3 shots (just like he did at 2 months and at 4 months). It is soooooo hard to watch your baby in pain. What's even worse is that he looks at me like, "Mommy, WHY would you let them hurt me like this?" OMG...it makes me cry. His entire little face turns purple and he screams. Jim has to hold his little arms down. Seriously, you would think by now they would come up with all oral vaccines so babies wouldn't have to go through that pain.
On another note, I got my hair cut off yesterday! I was so nervous...that was a big deal for me. My stylist could hardly believe I was doing it b/c for the 15+ years that she has done my hair all she's ever heard from me is "don't take off much length!" Anyway, I like it. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. Honestly, I don't really look any different b/c it's pretty much my exact same style, only shorter. It wasn't as drastic as I thought it would be. The bad thing is, Caleb still pulls it and now it keeps falling in my face. I won't really know how well I like it though until I style it myself...ya know, they always style is so perfectly...then you try to do it yourself and it's never the same!
One more thing...I'm on the lookout for a used jogging stroller if anyone knows of one. I looked on Craigslist in Hsv and I'm looking at Kid's Market this weekend, but if you see one for sale please let me know! I don't really want to spend more than $50-$60 on it and I want the front wheel to swivel and the canopy to be adjustable!
Okay, so was that random enough? Sorry!
Re: Random Talk...
I always feel for the little babies getting their shots. They're just too delicate to go through that kind of pain! I'm with you that they should come up with an oral vaccine or something better so they won't have so much to go through.
You need to post pictures of your new haircut!
You should post a before and after shot of your hair.
I checked Amazon for jogging strollesr and found these..

I think the fist one doesn't have a swivel wheel, but the second one looks like it may.?

?
yes, I want to see the hair!!! :: hoping its a pic I can see at work ::
I bet you look fab. Hope Caleb does well at the dr. Poor little guy. At 5, when I had my kindergarten shots I had to have the 2 drs, 5 nurses and my mom and dad hold me down b/c I HATED shots. Boy was I a baby. Then as an adult I had to GIVE MYSELF shots for my migraines. When you're in pain though, you just do it. Thank God I take oral meds for them now though. I feel for Caleb and hate it when babies have to have their shots!!!! ::sending hugs ::
You're so sweet to look those up for me! Unfortunately, those are for the insect net only...not the actual jogger ;-( They are expensive...that's why I'm gonna try to find a used one. Thanks for trying though!
Poor little guy. It is for the best....but it still hurts you to watch anyway!
Ok..now lets see that new do!
