I'm asking for ideas again.
I nanny for a couple different families and the past month or so I've been able to get the older ones out of the house to swim or play at the park to get their energy out. But I'm at a loss for what to do when it's raining! The thought didn't even cross my mind until this week and if this winter is anything like last with all the rain I better come up with something.
The kids are between 4-7 and very energetic so I'm looking for stuff to do around the valley that doesn't cost money like Peter Piper but they can run around and get their wiggles out so they can focus on homework for a little bit.
I also have a good friend with a 3 year old that I would love to have coffee with but I'm not a fan of McDonald's and the san tan mall play area is kinda out when it's raining. Someone needs to invent a coffee shop with a play area:)Thanks ladies!
Re: Maybe some of you moms can help me out.
I usually did crafts and learning activities on rainy days and I was a nanny in NYC... so this was pretty much half the year. There are a ton of great websites out there like FamilyEducation.com.
Sorry I'm not more help with local areas. We used to go to Chuck E Cheese but that costs money.
Story time at the public library or Barnes and Noble!

Like pp have said maybe some arts and craft time... here is a link BHG for halloween themed crafts for little ones... They send me daily/weekly emails about crafts and home stuff so if I see anything else I can send it your way if you would like.
The Childrens Museum is great. What about the aquarium at Arizona Mills?
