I am loving this weather!

It feels so nice outside.  Just a little bit cool, overcast, and a few showers.  I love it.  I wish I could be at home in my pjs with the windows open instead of stuck in this office.  If I didn't think this would get old after 30+ days straight I'd say I should move to the Pacific Northwest.

Re: I am loving this weather!

  • I loved it until it completely thrashed my house with hail and made everything start leaking.
  • Oh dear.  Yeah that would put a damper on things.  What part of Mesa are you in?  I live in Mesa too, but work in Scottsdale so I'm not sure how bad we got it out there.

  • I LOVE IT TOO!!

I want to be outside but cant, I am at work. But it's so crazy. It was all dark and stormy, major rain. And now, it's bright and sunny like nothing happened.

North mesa Gilbert rd area. We got hid HARD, everything is a mess. But some parts of Gilbert didn't get anything so your place might be fine.

  • I'm really glad it cooled down a bit...  but I also REALLY hope the weather at least clears up by Saturday when my e-pics are scheduled.  LOL

Yeah I'm not too far from there, near Hohokam.  So we'll see what things look like when I get home.  Good thing the dog doesn't get stressed by storms.

  • We got SLAMMED at work in N Scottsdale. Also saw some people with busted windshields on the way home. My brother's work closed because of leaks and hail damaging cars (including his!)

I am loving it though since there's no wind.

  • I work in Mesa, too.  We got hit really hard!  The awnings for part of our covered parking fell.  Luckily, no ones car was damaged, but it came within inches of peoples cars.  Big branches were broken off a lot of the trees we have around the office, and the parking lot was totally flooded.  Covered my foot while I was walking out there.  Cah-razy!

  • Love that it cooled off a bit and we got rain.  Was not a fan of the hail though, it knocked out two of our windows in the house drenching our wood floors and blew in a ton of debris. still picking up glass and dirt and stuff. I think our floors will be fine. thankfully DH and I were both home when it happened so we mopped up the mess the best we could and then he boarded up our windows.  Saw this morning that DHs car got quite the knocking from the rain, the whole driver side and roof/hood look like the texture of a golf ball now.  Thankfully the windows are still intact. Who'd have thought AZ could have such violent storms like that. we saw online that they actually had a couple of small tornados up in Flagstaff area.  Craziness!!

  • Yeah I wasn't seeing all the destruction when I originally posted this.  That kind of puts a damper on things.  My coworker ended up with $8,000 (yep that's thousands) of damage to his car from the hail while he was at a meeting.
