Re: any suggestions for DISENYLAND?
tiki room, jungle cruise, pirates, haunted mansion...might be to scary, adventures of winnie the pooh. all of fantasy land esp the carrousel and small world, buzz astro blasters.
my recommendation for great photo ops are snow whites wishing well, the carrousel, dumbo, teacups, and in tomorrowland the huge rocket and they have a huge orb that you can move that has water on it in front of captain eo, and the court of angels when you leave pirates is located to left and has a great fountain.
to rest/ relax the train and mainstreet rides. also on mainstreet greatest moments w prez lincon & cinema
toon town is ok but usually crowded.
you can get your first time pin at the ticket booth or city hall
have fun and take lots of pics!!!
Are you going to California Adventure, too? Or just Disneyland?
DS1 loves the Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters ride. The nice thing about it, too, is you can FastPass it. Other favorites: The Dumbo ride, It's a Small World, Peter Pan, Finding Nemo, and Winnie the Pooh.
If you're heading to California Adventure, too, we love the rides in Bug's Land and the Monsters, Inc ride. If you've got the time and patience for a long line - Toy Story Mania is fun, too.
You can get the button from City Hall on Main Street Disneyland. Have fun!
THey also give away the buttons at Guest Services, which is to the left of the California Adventure entrance.
I don't know exactly what it's like, but at the end of main street there's a spot set up now where you can pay for a princess type of celebration and the kiddos get to decorate a cake (I feel like I read it was a mickey mouse). It might be a huge waste, I didn't see anyone there when we walked past it last month early in the morning, but just thought I'd throw it out there for you.
"It's a small world", "Toontown" and the the street parade would be high recommended. My daughter had her 3 YR Old birthday in Disneyland. She was scared the "Snow White scary adventure".
