Girls Night in-Fall Themed!
Hello-
I'm hosting some friends over on friday night to drink some wine, decorate some fall cupcakes and make caramel apples! Each of my guests is bringing something fall themed to share as a light appetizer and I am providing everything else. (our group does a lot of these style parties where everyone brings something)
Here is what I've got:
Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes
Vanilla cupcakes
Cream cheese frosting, vanilla frosting, some tinted orange some plain
Sprinkles-different colors/types
Tube frosting and decorator tips
Pumpkin shaped candies
Apples, caramel, nuts for dipping
Different wines and some lemonade etc for non drinkers
We will also decorate 4pack sized boxes to take the cupcakes home in. What else do you think I need?

You could do maybe maple frosting.
You'll need the sticks for the apples, although I figure you've got that and just didn't list it.
Will your crowd really want to decorate a cardboard box they'll throw away the next day? I might scrap that portion of the night's activities unless you know your group of friends is uber-crafty.
If everyone else is bringing food, just make sure they're savory items to cut the sugar you've already got going on.

Maple frosting is a great idea-thanks! Yes I do have the sticks for the apples and some cellophane bags to put htem in after they have set. Most people I've talked to are bring savory and the few I haven't talked to usually just bring wine.
Another idea I think I may use it to put out a dipping station for the apples with chopped nuts, mini reeses' pieces (they are fall colored!) and something else to dip them in...maybe chopped chocolate or candy corn?
