Anyone listen to 98.3?

I haven't been listening to the radio much lately, but the other day I turned it on and was surprised to hear 98.3 is a totally different station now!!

So is 92.5 the only remaining "current hits" type station around here now?

Re: Anyone listen to 98.3?

  • I was listening to 92.5 the other day and they said that 98.3 went to an "oldies" type station now. They also said that they were the only "current hits" station around toledo now. I haven't listened to 98.3 in a long time, I'm always listening to 92.5 and now that I found out you can listen to it over the computer, I always have it on at work too!

  • it is one of my presets but besides listening to 89x in the a.m. i rarely listen to fm stations anymore.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • It's not so much an "oldies" station as it has now gone the way of "Adult contemporary"...105.5/101.5 kinda stuff.

On a related note, I was listening to a local "classic rock" station and they played Stone Temple Pilots!  Seriously, THAT is classic rock?  I'm getting old!

  • Yeah, and I'm pissed...  Someone stole my FM transmitter for my iPod out of my car, so I've been forced to listen to the radio for the last few weeks and Friday, 98.3 changed their format, without warning...  I still like the music they play, but when I want top 40, I only have one choice, now, which I think sucks.
  • One of my friends posted about this on fb the other day and one of her friends commented on the status and said that they moved to either 87.7 or 91.3.  I haven't checked it out yet, I've just been listenin to cds

I wish I could check that...  my car radio doesn't go down to 87.7, though, lol.  And 91.3 is still WGTE, as far as I know.

  • I wondered the same thing!  I miss having a second top 40 station to listen to as well.  I like this music too, but if they could do away with John Tesh, that would make it even better.
