Organic/non-GMO dashi miso paste?
Does anyone have a brand they like?
I bought an organic miso paste from WFs but... doh! No dashi in it, so it doesn't taste right to me. I realized that organic probably can't have dashi in it, because fish can't be organic, right?
I want the two together, and not a 'soup mix' with dried stuff in it, just the miso/dashi paste.

For the longest time, it was either organic "fake" miso or authentic (from the Asian market) non-organic.... I will have to try the Miko brand. Thanks again!
No, none of those are what I have at home. I'd recognize the tub, but I can't remember the name. The Asian markets don't sell anything organic. Definitely not health food stores!!!
It looks like I may have to buy the dashi separately. I didn't see a dashi miso on any of these, although Eden does have an organic (or made with organic) dashi. Oh... no, they have all the ingredients to make dashi. *sigh*
I gave up and just bought all the stuff for dashi. That probably makes more sense anyway!
I will look at Uwajamiya next time I am there though! They carry my favorite dashi miso, but is unfortunately not organic or non-GMO.
