Need Help...again

So posted before about hard water stains...This weekend put to the test some of the producst you guys suggested (including the coke) and nothing worked.

Looking closely i realized it wesa not hard water stains but a gooeeyyyy thing (kinda looks like dried up glue) around where the water sts after you flush the toilet. So everything gets stuck to it and looks dirty. Now that it is clean it is just a yellowish color but it will get dirty again. I tried scrubbung it with CLR and a hard sponge and it didn't come off

Has anyone seen this? any advice?

  • You may have to use Muriatic Acid to remove this deposit. You can buy it at Lowes or Home Depot in the paint department. Pour a couple cups of it into the toilet bowl(dont remove the toilet water) Let it sit for an hour or two, scrub with a brush and flush. Be sure to wear rubber gloves and dont splash it onto yourself. Read the label on the bottle for safety recommendations. It will work, but you have to be careful.
