If your MLB team didn't make the playoffs.....
who are you rooting for in the postseason?
I'm a Tigers gal/AL since birth so I always root for the AL. Right now it's whoever plays the Yankees! I was also going to root for Tampa, but game 2 looks like game 1, Texas scoring 5+ runs, Tampa not doing a thing.

I stop paying attention. When I hear about baseball on the radio/news, I kind of think to myself "huh, I forgot baseball was still going on"

No one. I like the Tigers since I grew up in Michigan (Saginaw) but lived a good 5 years in St. Louis and the Cards didn't make it either.
And I live in NY and couldn't care less about the Yankees or Mets.
Anyone except the Yankees, Phillies or Braves.
I'm a Mets fan.
Another Pirates fan here, so I'm quite familiar with not having a team to root for in the playoffs. DH is a Yankees fan (and he does a great job of rooting for all of my teams in the other sports), so I support his team when the baseball playoffs come around.
Other than that, I'm fine with Texas, Tampa Bay, San Francisco, Atlanta and Cincinnati, in no particular order
I'm normally an NL fan, but I hate the Giants, and I nothing the Phillies and Reds. I guess I am kind of rooting for the Braves because I like Rick Ankiel.
But this year I am going to root for an AL team to win it all-the Rays. I'm with all of you who are an "Anyone but the Yankees" fan, as well. And I kind of like the Rangers, because of Josh Hamilton, but I dislike them because they were the first team to give Arod a ridiculous salary.
I'm really wishy-washy in the playoffs this year, because my team came so close to making it, then choked. I'm still bitter.
Anyone but the Yankees. I was rooting for the Braves because that's H's team....but they're toast. So whoever plays the Yankees.
I hated being a BoSox fan this season.
