Confession
I am scared to get my hair cut! I hate getting it cut. I am going to someone new tomorrow and getting it dyed as well as a new style! I am a chicken about this! I know it is silly but it is true. Just thinking about it makes my anxiety level go up!!!!

Going to someone new always makes me nervous too. I never used to get the least bit nervous until I went to a new person and she made my whole head a highlight and did a terrible job cutting. But I'm sure your person will do a fabulous job. It would be really hard to be as horrible as the girl that messed up my hair.
I have always had the best luck when I tell the stylist to do what she wants. She knows what she's good at, and probably knows what would look best on me better than I do.
And if it's awful, just remember: it's hair, and it will grow back.
Yeah... I haven't had to deal with that "new stylist" thing in a LOOOOONG time! I've been with my stylist for almost 10 years! It's crazy when I think back!
She did my hair for both my Junior and Senior Proms, hacked it off right after senior prom for graduation. She's highlighted it SUPER blonde, dyed it rich dark browns and everything in between. She's seen me through graduation, my wedding and we just discussed babies when I went last week!
I love her because I can just walk in and she knows what to do. I've followed her to three different salons in those 10 years, too! And with her most recent move she's actually a little closer to me. She was only 15 mins away before though.
How long ago was this?? And she still won't speak to you??
I went to the same hair stylist for 5 years and every 6 months or so she would call me and tell me she moved. Finally, she just moved a little too far (about 45 to an hour away) and so I just started going to the Mitchell's by us, using the same lady that cut Adam's hair....until she couldn't cut my bangs right after I told her twice what I wanted. Now I go to the lady that did my hair for the wedding, cuts my mom's hair and used to cut my dad's hair. I can't wait to get it all chopped off on Monday!!
