AW: Cupcakes!!
I made some brown sugar and cinnamon cupcakes with white chocolate cream cheese frosting to take to DH's company picnic today. I made them all from scratch and they actually turned out pretty awesome (especially the frosting)! I was very surprised, since I'm such a horrible baker. I've tried to make cookies from scratch 4 times using 4 different recipes and they turned out disgusting everytime. I thought me+baking=lost cause, but I guess not!

I'm not nearly as good at baking as I am with savory cooking, but once in awhile I'll find a recipe that works for me.
Those sound delicious! I'll have to try them sometime.
For some reason, I can't make good cookies, but my pies, cupcakes, muffins, etc. turn out just fine. Don't give up on baking just because you can't make cookies!
