Mexico

Hey all!  I just got back from Mexico last night...it was an amazing trip! It was a combination 1 year anniversary and my birthday celebration, so needed it!

I've been awol from the board lately.  I started a new job that doesn't really afford me any playing time on the internet!  Sad  I just thought I'd pop in now that I have some time and say HI!  See if I missed anything!

  • Hi missy!!  Glad to have you back!  I looked at some of your Mexico pictures on FB... looks like you had a great time!
  • Where in Mex were you? I'm in Cabo as we speak!
  • We were in Cancun this time - also wasn't a huge fan of the resort we stayed at but the guy who organized chose it, so wasn't anything I could change.  But we got to lay by the pool and drink and relax, so I guess mission accomplished!  We're actually thinking about Cabo for next time, and I'll take your advice and stay away from the Riu resorts!

Actually, my friend Jen (the one who got married) said that the Riu Palace is SO much better!  It's more expensive but does have room service and it's more glamorous.  It's also laid out better.  Riu Santa Fe is the lower-end Riu resort in the area, I guess.  Both resorts are literally right next to each other (on the map I thought they were the same resort) and very close to town which was nice.
