New here, just thought I would say hi. I noticed this board is quiet. Hopefully we can get more activity. 
My husband and I recently moved and bought our first home in Huntsville. We have been here less than a year. We have found it hard to make friends here due to our busy schedules so I thought I could find some cool people on here to connect with.

I tried replying to your PM but I don't think it went through, you might want to check just in case lol. To answer your questions: I am doing great, thanks for asking. I am married, have been married a little over 4 years now. No kids but we do have 2 dogs at the moment. One dog is my dad's that we are dog-sitting for the time being and the other one (profile pic) is our baby.
My husband and I relocated here to HSV from Louisiana for my job. I found a good job here and decided I wanted to move closer to home (I have a Grandmother in Muscle Shoals). I think I read that you have lived here most of your life? If so, what is there to do here???
I am trying to reach out and make some friends in the area. We did not know anyone when we moved here and still really don't. It would be nice to have some friends that are closer than Louisiana!
I was born here, but then moved 6 months after I was born (Military Dad). We moved back in 10th grade. I graduated HS in 2001 and then moved to GA for college. I moved back here in March of 2008. We go to a lot of sports events. Hockey, baseball, football... there's always something going on! What part of Huntsville are you in? We go out and shoot pool occasionally.... go to the river.... go fishing in Guntersville. There's a ton of shopping. There's all kinds of things to do here for fun, it just all depends on what type of stuff you like to do!
We actually live outside of Huntsville, I'll PM that part lol. I do like to shop, I've been several different places and find that I actually like shopping in South Huntsville better because they have everything I need. I love Bridgestreet as well. They have some good restaurants there. My hubby is studying for the CPA exam so we don't get out much at this point in time, there is only so much I want to do by myself. I am dragging him to a pumpkin patch soon!

Adam and I are going to check out that Disturbia haunted house sometime soon. Unless I get kicked out for punching someone for scaring me. This is probably a bad idea, but we're going to go for it anyway!!! haha.
My husband and I have just moved to Fultondale. We are looking to make new friends in the area. We do not know ANYONE here. We have found it hard to make friends here. I'm hoping that this website could be the answer to my prayers...LOL!
