The big question...

If money were no object to you, what would you do with the rest of your life?
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these." - Mark 12:30-31 studiowestway.com facebook.com/studiowestway

Re: The big question...

  • I can actually say, exactly what I'm doing right now...though I would move my family closer to me or find the same job closer to them.

  • Someone was at church this morning!

  • Once my kids were older, I would spend my time volunteering (I'd probably pick several different organizations to work with) and traveling.
  • Environmental stuff, visiting my sister all the time, and traveling.

  • What I'm doing now with a few added benefits of travel and extra resources to be able to help those who lack the ability to help themselves.

  • I would see much more of the world and our country than I can possibly afford now. I think I might keep my job, though. I might even use my money to donate to the school for the programs that are in dire need.

  • I would buy a 'motor home' so that H and I could go on long road trips. I'd also buy a house too in a location that we prefer, a neighborhood that we can't afford to live in right now. I'd finish school, but I'd probably change my degree since I wouldn't have to worry about how much I'd make once I graduated.

We would definitely travel a LOT more. We only go somewhere big once a year and if we had more money, we'd try and do two or three big trips a year.

H could quit working full time labor and start working more on his photography career.

I'd get my mom out of credit card debt but ONLY if she promises to stop using the d@mn thing unless it's an emergency. I'd also help my grandparents out since they are barely making it on just the social security and disability.

  • I would go on and sponsor tons of mission trips, both local and international. It is such an amazing and eye-opening experience to help those who are in need. It's a great reminder to not take anything for granted.

  • I'd love to stay in education - maybe work my way up in higher ed. Take time off to get my two Master's degrees, then stay in higher ed. I would probably wind up being a SAHM until my kids were in school, then go back to work.

I have this secret passion for teaching and would also consider going back to get my elementary education degree, then just teach the rest of my life. I'd also like to travel more.

  • I would continue teaching in some capacity, but also take time off to pursue advanced degrees.

  • I would stay at home with the kids until they started school and then I would go back to school to get a Ph.D.  I really like school and would probably want to teach at a college level once I was done.
