Anyone else's DH...

Want to stay home and do nothing all weekend?  I want to go out and do stuff, even if it's just grocery shopping, but he won't.  I hate being inside all the time.

I really hate just staying at home also. My H varies - sometimes he wants to stay home & relax, sometimes he wants to be out & about. Usually we're in & out a lot.

I had the opposite this weekend, DH wanted to be out, whether in the woods, running errands, just anywhere but the house.  I wanted to clean the house... I think he wasn't avoiding the house, just the cleaning.

Izzy, Peter's brain is on severe overload by Saturday...  after listening to jackhammers, dealing with NYC traffic and crazy clients, I don't blame him...

However, he is perfectly fine to play hocky at midnight on Fridays (or Satudays) so I force him to be out and about with me.

But if it was his choice, he'd hibernate all weekend.

Hmmm... I suppose Andrew could blame DC traffic (he has a pretty bad commute), stupid Best Buy customers and everything, so I guess it could be forgivable.  But still, I sit at a computer all day at work for the most part, it's the LAST thing I wanna do on weekends. = /

Most of the time DH is trying to get me to go out and do stuff. This weekend he was perfectly happy at home though...Dead Rising 2 probably had something to do with that.

No, we are out all of the time. My house is like a hotel room. All we do is sleep here. I'm not a homebody by any means but it's getting pretty exhausting and I'm hoping for things to settle down this summer. Even though we're always doing something, I feel like it's more social obligations than stuff I want to do. And the amount of time I spend with my ass on a bar stool is getting a little out of hand. Our next free Saturday is Nov 27 and we haven't had one since the beginning of June. I'm tired. We should plan a MD/DC gtg.

Yes!  I'd be happier if I was going out to do stuff with people, but I hate going out alone all the time.  My mom will be here for Thanksgiving, but she'll be leaving that sunday morning (the 28th if you're free then).  Other than that, I'm gone most weekends until then for work or visiting family.
