so DH and I never see each other because I am gone to work each day from 6am-5pm monday through friday and he works 3-11pm 4 days a week plus most weekends (overtime). I decided I needed something to do while he was gone at night so I signed up for a bunch of community learning (no credit) classes at our local community college. In the next 3 months I will be taking-beginning watercolor painting, holiday candy making, & cake decorating 101! Hopefully I will learn something and have some fun! What are all of you doing now that they wedding stuff is over?

I alter wedding dresses as a side gig, so it feels like the fun never ends!
Do the creep.
I am a teacher, so that keeps me super busy...but for fun, I joined a company called Everyday Style and am now a consultant (sales girl lol). I will do house parties, etc. and make a little extra cash in the process! Plus it helps to fill the 'party planning' void.
I love to read, so I am trying to fit that in as well...and of course somewhere in there I really REALLY want to find the time to start scrapbooking.
I am also a Big Sister, so spending time with my new 'little' will be on my agenda as well!
I signed up for a piano class because I too never see my husband. Then they cancelled the piano class because of lack of interest.
I bought a new keyboard and everything.
So now my hobby is writing thank yous. (Yes I am still working on them) When I finally finish I will pick a new hobby but still would like to take another piano class.
My Blog
I am focusing on cooking new and fun things, and I'm starting to think about what we are going to do for our honeymoon, so those are fun!
DH and I also have very different schedules so I end up with a lot of alone time. I unfortunately live in a very rural area (about 1/2 hr away from friends and any sort of entertainment or classes) and work very early Mon-Thurs. So my life happens Thursday night through Sunday evening.
When I lived in a more central location, I joined a women's only gym and took exercise classes that I loved, zumba was my absolute favorite!
I didn't realize there were anniversary boards, oops. Anyways, I also thought I'd have a lot of extra time w/o wedding planning, but that never seems to be the case. DH works in retail, so his schedule can be a little annoying...but it's suppose to slow down in the winter. I don't like when he works all weekend!
I am trying to get back into running/working out regularly, and possibly picking up some freelance writing work.
I travel too much to commit to classes, though i want to learn to play golf.
I signed up to run my first 5K in November, so I have been train 4-5 days a week for that. DH & I have different schedules, I work 7-4 M-F he works 3rd shift on a 5-3 schedule.
I've been busy de-cluttering & decorating our house too. Sometimes I feel like that could be a full time job in and of itself!
Planning Bio ~ With Pro Pics
DH and I are back to decorating the house, only the kitchen/dining and the lounge to do now.
Plus I took a correspondence Event Management course and have now started a Frontline Management course that I already hate, so I might have to give up.
I am also looking for a new contract job and am intent on tidying all the wedding and other excess stuff in our house up.
I am back to the grind at work now (hooray for overtime pay!), and I have also thrown myself back into my poor forgotten crafts with a passion. i have so many half finished projects that I dropped a year ago when we got engaged and I would love to finish them all. First up though is a baby blanket - it's a race against the baby.
I will also be writing thank you cards once they come in this week (our wedding was August 28 and I want to have them out before the 2 month mark - took a month to get our pictures from the photographer and another week and a half to process and ship the cards). I'm obviously getting defensive about this.
I will also be beginning to house hunt soon - so I imagine that will take up a decent chunk of my time at night. Ooh the fun!
