Who has today off?
My company doesn't normally give us Columbus Day off but we have a furlough day today so it ends up being a free day for me. Hooray - because I feel so run down and crappy this morning that work is the last place I'd want to be (not that it's any different on any other Monday I guess....)
So who has today off and what are you doing? I am hoping to drag my ass off the couch and go look for a dress to wear to a wedding next wknd...and my really big ambitious plan for today was to take the dog up to my parent's (45 min drive) and go hike around this area over there. We'll see if that happens. Right now I want to go back to sleep (DH was up and gone by 4:30am since it's Monday and he's off to work on the other coast....) and then lay on my couch and eat Oreos all day.

We aren't normally off either, depends how the other holidays are, but this year is worked in our favor! WOOP!!
My intentions today are to CLEAN because I never got to it last week, then I may try and hang some items I've had sitting around since the honeymoon and cook a nice dinner
I have today off because I work for the government! I also took Friday off to have a 4-day weekend. I've spent all weekend cleaning, running around, going to 2 showers, going to church, doing youth group stuff...
Today, I am staying home! And doing NOTHING... And it feels good..

I am at work today. But HH is home because he doesn't have school today. He's going to put two new blinds up in our bedroom today...yay! And I think he's going to do some yardwork.
I am enjoying my day of freedom - no meeting prison and no house arrest...woot!!
I'm off! and super excited about it-- it's the perfect way to finish off a great weekend! I went for a nice long run on Saturday (almost 8 miles!) while Greg was at band practice, then went out dancing with the girls, and then yesterday we went on a hayride, picked out our pumpkins, and scored some awesome farmer's market food! Not to mention the whole weekend I got to hang out and watch the Phillies absolutely DESTROY! woo!
Today I'm doing laundry, taking our cat to the vet, cleaning, and writing my lesson plans for the rest of the month! I'm also planning on indulging in some crap daytime tv!
I LOVE Waffle House!!! We ate there pretty much every morning for breakfast on our honeymoon. I really wish we had one here!

Well, I rallied and did NOT spend the day on the couch...went shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding this wknd (no luck) and then took the dog up to my parents' for a visit and then hiked around this gorgeous state park up there. She sniffed everything, peed everywhere, went in the water, and generally tired herself out. I'm tired, too! It's gonna be a very early bedtime tonight...
Waffle House sounds awesome. Now I want waffles.
