I am super nervous.  My friend at work gave me one of her Xanax pills but I'm nervous to take even half of it since I have to drive an hour to my MIL's surgery right after the appointment.

Will half of one pill knock me out or do you think I'll be ok and it will just take the edge off??

I've never taken Xanax so I don't know.  You will be just fine though, I promise.  It's really not that bad.  I know that you're really anxious going into it though.  It's fun if there is a screen where you can see everything too.  I've had so many that I can tell where my ute and ovaries are now.

LOL! Do you think they'll tell me anything?  What are they looking for today (CD14)?  If they are looking to see if I'm about to ovulate, I don't think they'll see anything considering I usually ovulate around CD22.

You're probably there now, or done by now.  Sorry!!  They're probably just looking for cysts or any abnormalities that can be seen from that sort of ultrasound.

I survived!!! Thanks for the advice about relaxing! It only lasted about 5 minutes and she let me put it in. I asked the tech if I had all of my parts and she said she couldn't say that my dr. would tell me, which is what I figured, but I was trying to joke with her. She didn't think it was funny I guess. Now I just wait...

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.  The first time, or maybe it was the second time, the tech asked me if I wanted to put it in myself.  I thought that that seemed more awkward than her doing it.  Glad it went well!!
