Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.

Ancestry.com?

I know a while back some of you were trying this out.  have been using it for a while, but I will have to cancel my membership soon (we dont have the money).  I know they dont let you access your saved tree and documents after you cancel, right?

Im wondering if there is a way to print all of the info I have found from research that will be easy to read and go through (put it into a scrapbook)?  My grandmother wants me to do this so she can see it all.

Any suggestions would be super helpful, TIA!

Re: Ancestry.com?

  • Do they not have an option to print the information? I would think that there would be a way to print it. I haven't used ancestry.com so I am not sure.

If there is not a way to print maybe you can do screen shots and then just paste in word. It won't be the same, but at least you will have it.

  • I cancelled my subscription so I'm not sure but I think you can actually share your tree with someone else. Not sure if they have to have an account to view it though. Maybe then you could print it? Maybe you can e-mail it? If not, screenshots like Heather suggested are probably the way to go.
