Anyone else sick?
I've been sick for two weeks now. Last week I finally went to the doctor and got a Zpack, cough syrup for night, and a cough pill for during the day. Nothing is working. The cough finally went away last night when my father made me take a shot of whiskey. Really cough is completely gone. But now the drainage is killing me. It may be allergies, but I've never had allergies this bad. Now my stomach hurts from drainage. So ready for this to be over!

Have you used mucinex dm before? I would suggest that for the drainage. and make sure you're drinking a lot of water so it will thin it out.
I probably wasn't supposed to - but I was taking nyquil capsules at night before I went to sleep - it helped a ton with the coughing while I was sleeping.
DH and I have also had this ongoing for about a month now =(. I've gone to the dr twice and its still "just allergies" apparently. Fall is usually my off season for allergies - boo!
Right there with both of you. DH was sick all last week. I got sick towards the later part. We both had what I thought were head colds: congestion, cough, aches. We went to the doctor yesterday and she said it was allergies.
One of my good friends has been sick for a few weeks and the meds don't seem to be helping yet. The allergens have been really bad for the past 2 weeks too so I'm sure that doesn't help
