BBers: Pomegranates and Pumpkins oh my!

My Bountiful Basket pickup is this week and I was so excited to see that pomegranates are being offered.  I love pomegranates and works out to a good price ($.77/lb) BUT 24lbs is a ton of pomegranates, isn't it?  I could prep some arils for the freezer, but my freezer isn't that big and it would take quite awhile.  Anyone want to give me some arguments to sway me one way or another?

Also, to those who picked up last week, how did the "basketball sized pumpkins" look? I'm tempted by those as well, but if I got everything I wanted it could be a pricey basket.Smile
