today is my last day of work!!!!
I am so excited! Better yet, because the dr has "excused" me from work, I am able to claim STD benefits and it doesn't affect my maternity and/or FMLA leave
I may not get out of bed tomorrow

Short Term Disability
I guess STD can stand for a lot of things in our life time
In college STD was ...well... you know and there was a fear of getting one.
Then you get engaged and no longer are you worried about STD's but rather STD's - that come in cute forms like magnets and post cards
Then you get married, get knocked up and STD takes on a WHOLE 'nother meaning of "Short Term Disability" - meaning - how you can manage to get some sort of compensation while you have a baby... (or if you hurt yourself or various other reasons)

How great! I didn't realize you were so close.
I don't know if you saw the blanket I crocheted but I ended up not giving it to the person I intended. Long story. It's all Miss Avery's if you want it. Hope it doesn't come off as sloppy seconds. I have no use for it and would like someone to be able to use it.
