I planted them at the end of summer, but it was obviously too hot so I tried again 2 weeks ago. They sprout immediately and get about 3-4 inches tall, then just... stop. No roots to speak of. They're in pots with Miracle Grow.
The same thing is happening with my kohlrabi.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: I can't grow radishes
No root development in radishes can be a result of too much shade (would have to be a lot though), seeding too close together, or planting in high nitrogen/low potassium soil.
I found a couple of kids science projects using radishes and Miracle Grow and the Miracle Grow radishes did worse. I don't like using that sort of stuff and just build good soil and have never had a problem.
radishes don't mature in 2 wks. check on your packet of kohlrabi, but I think the date for maturity for that is like 2 months or more.
You may just be not giving them enough time.
