Housewarming party

Me and My Luv

We moved into our new home in July, and we are hoping to have a housewarming party in early December, would that be okay since it is near the holidays?  Would it make sense to incorporate a holiday/housewarming party as one?   Your thoughts/ideas?

I would think that would be totally fine.  In fact, call it a "Holiday Housewarming".  I would hold back on decorating over the top on the Holiday theme though, as people want to see your real home and not your [insert specific holiday here] home, you know?

I agree! Put your tree up and be done with the decorating!

i'd make it a holiday housewarming. not only do you want to show off your new place, but also want to spend time with friends that time of year.

A friend of mine did a housewarming party in the middle of the holidays and it was great! Having your holiday decorations up will make your house look warm and inviting! Good luck, sounds fun!
