Doula recommendations....
Does anyone have a great doula that they loved that does CMC?
If you don't mind sharing, about how much did that cost?
Did anyone ever use a post-partum doula?

Are you PG again??? Or just having a hard time? Don't worry about having a hard time with things - it's best to ask for help when you need it so you can be the best mom for your kids!
Call Nini Bambini 603.666.6464 and ask to speak to Nina Cullen - I know she can help you out and I know that Nini Bambini has a "Meet the Doulas' night once a month...
I just called Nini Bambini and they had me call Michelle. I spoke with her for a bit and she made me feel better.
I got a positive HPT yesterday. I was on the pill, but knew I was ovulating. I tried NFP - when I felt signs of ovulation, I abstained (even though the nurse assured me that some women DO ovulate on the pill and it works in other ways to prevent pregnancy). Guess that didn't work. I *think* I ovulated on the 16th. Last time we DTD was on the 13th/14th (overnight) and then I felt ovulation pains on the 14th and DH was cut off. But, one rogue sperm managed to live and swim.
I was supposed to have my IUD put in on the 9th.
I've been looking at the Nini Bambini website. I definitely need to find some support because everyone in my life (not DH....but, my mother and my friends) are all telling me I have "options" and I should exercise that option. Almost like they're saying "you can't do this, it's better for everyone if you terminate". Way to help me!
DH is trying to make me laugh. He says they're going to name a wing after us at CMC. I see my OB tomorrow (another person who will NOT be happy). I'm trying not to jump the gun since it's early and I know anything can happen. I'm also having some pains on my right side, so I'm glad I'm going tomorrow because I'm not sure if it's a cyst or bad news.

I hope you gets some answers from your OB if/or if not...hang in there....BTW - I think you should talk to Kim (MrsKimD) she had 3 surprises as well (well, one on the way) ...and FWIW, congratulations on your HPT, i'm sure it is totally surreal/overwhelming, but it is a blessing...

i jsut want to say that you are not alone in this. and i know how freaking shocking this is. believe me i know first hand....
i was pg with ds #1 on the pill for 6 years straight.... so i totally know how that can happen.....
if you ever need to talk about anything... people, babies, whatever, please feel free to email me.... even if you just need a sounding board. im hear to listen. one thing that you definately need is a good support system... sounds like your hubby is on board and thats a fabulous thing... its much easier i think for them than it is us to wrap our heads around the whole thing....
i dont have any doula recs but i just wanted to send hugs and let you know that if you ever need to vent or whatever, please feel free...

also wanted to add that 3 mos after i had vinny, i was having some pain on my right side so at my check up they had sent me to get an us to check my ovaries because they thought it could have been a cyst...
thats when we found out that we were having baby #2... just 3 mos after vincent was born. i was way overwhelmed and honestly did not know hwat to do with myself... how the eff did i let that happen.... and then about 5 mos ago i found out that i was pg with baby #3... just a year and 3 mos after tonys bday so i will have 3 under 3..... um ya.... so anytime you want to talk. i can totally relate.....
