So I know I'm supposed to be eating right and working out and blah blah blah...BUT I JUST WANT TO EAT ICE CREAM AND BROWNIES!!!

I ate pretty healthy the other day. That is until I got home and DH and I ate an entire pan of brownies in one sitting! I've also only gone to the gym 3 times this week. I know I'll go tomorrow and Saturday, but how am I ever going to lose weight if I keep eating my weight in brownies?

Why can't I just have a high metabolism like natually skinny B's? Or better yet, fat should be the new?skinny! Grr...this pisses me off!Angry

  • It is ok.  I had the most random breakfast ever since we're low on groceries:

    Smart Ones Creamy Rigatoni with Chicken and Broccoli

    1 serving Double Churned Icecream.  Lol.

    I hear ya Leah.  Food is my downfall.  I can't eat less than half a pizza whenever we order it.  Ugh...

  • lol, I know how you feel.  I love to bake, so I am always making stuff I shouldn't eat! 

    My best motivation is to think about how much BETTER I feel when I don't eat that stuff, especially late at night.  I always feel better about myself in the morning when I know I had a healthy night of eating.  And I look better too!

    I haven't eaten yet today b/c I'm afraid to w/this migraine.  I'm wondering if I'll even make it through the day.

    30DS kicked my butt last night.  Tonight I'll be in the bed resting to get rid of this crap and tomorrow I'll work out again.  ugh, I just want to be in the bed, NOW.

  • now i'm craving a pan of brownies!! girl, i feel ya - food is my downfall too. especially sweets. if i bake a sheet of cookies, half of them end up getting shoveled into my mouth as soon as they come out of the oven. :( don't beat yourself up. it's not like you eat a pan of brownies everyday. :)
  • Last time we baked brownies, Jackson snuck in and slobbered over the rest of them.  So maybe get a yellow lab?
  • Just because I don't eat them everyday doesn't mean I wouldn't if I could! LOL!
    Jess- that would be a way to help solve the problem, but I don't think Robert would go for that Hmm

  • When I bake stuff, I try to give away as much as possible as quickly as possible!  And I always half recipes.

  • I totally feel your pain.  DH and I can polish off a pan on brownies in no time!

    I was doing well at the beginning of this week, but have felt like crap the last 2 days!  My throat is killing me and my neck hurts - I'm hoping it's just a change of the season sinus thing....

    And, spark people depressed me when I logged in what I ate before lunch and it was already almost 700 calories - holy crapola!!

    LOL! o i know, i just thank God that i don't have the resources to bake cookies everyday!! ;)

  • Well I had bad pop tarts for breakfast, a 100 cal pack for a snack, and hamburger helper  leftovers for lunch.  This afternoon I'll have another 100 cal pack and a fiber one bar.

    Last night I did cardio at the gym.  Tonight I'll be doing a 12 min run and weights.

    If i got cookies in the oven its a miracle...I usually end up just eating the dough or batter if its brownies or a cake.  Mummm yellow cake batter is the best :) I really should get counseling for my love of sweets Sad
