birthday ideas?
my friend Owen and I have birthdays 1 day apart and have celebrated together for the last few years because we basically have the same circle of friends.
2 years ago, he played a show in his hometown in WI so lars and i made the trek for that and last year, he had a gig at Bunkers so we all had dinner at the Red Stag first and then went to his show.
this year, he isn't playing so we can do whatever we want so i'm looking for ideas.
needs to be relatively inexpensive since most of our friends are musicians and are therefore broke. we like good food, music, beer and our friends.
any ideas? we usually have 30-40 people in attendance.
